Share our mission
Awareness is the first step toward change.
Every time you share our resources, you help a Canadian employee, caregiver, or manager find the support they need. Here is how to help us reach more people.
Why it matters
Most Canadians do not know their rights when cancer affects their work. Most managers have never been trained to respond to a disclosure. Most employers do not have a policy. Awareness changes that — and it starts with people like you sharing what they know.
Share our resources
Know someone navigating cancer and work? Share our guides directly. Whether they need help understanding their accommodation rights, planning a return to work, or supporting a colleague — we have a resource for them.
LinkedIn is where HR professionals, managers, and employees are already talking about workplace wellbeing. A post or share from you puts our resources in front of the people who need them most.
Tell your HR team
Forward our employer resources to your HR department, people manager, or union rep. One email can change how your entire organization responds to cancer in the workplace.
Recommend us to an organization
Know a hospital, cancer agency, union, or employer association that should know about us? Make an introduction. We are always looking to partner with organizations that share our mission.
Talk about it
The most powerful thing you can do is simply talk about this issue — with colleagues, friends, and family. Cancer in the workplace is still a topic many people avoid. Your willingness to name it helps normalize the conversation.
Use our resources in your work
Are you a healthcare provider, social worker, counsellor, or HR professional? Our guides are free to share with clients and colleagues. Reference them, link to them, print them — whatever helps.
